Santa's Village in the San Bernardino Mountains Reopens

Santa's Village is a hotbed of fond memories for many but what about the newly opened version? Running Around LA goes to the San Bernardino mountains in 40-degree weather so you don't have to! Santa's Village is no Disneyland.

It's a product of the mountains. The buildings of AV are actually from locally lumbered trees. So don't expect anything you would find from a multi-million dollar park. Admission is pretty steep. At 60 per adult, you may think about finding a coupon to Knott's and not making the 2-hour drive to Rim of the World. So what do you get for 60? There's free parking. Three currently working rides, and a photo op with Santa. Mostly you have the chance to buy things. Santa's Village has three restaurant spaces and three food shops.

Also there are three places to buy merchandise. Really with the lack of stuff to do SV may have a hard time convincing people to make the trek for more than a day at Knott's with a discount would be.
